Taking Deep Breaths

We are certainly not short on challenges in DC. And those of us in Adams Morgan are experiencing a brisk mix of adverse conditions. Whether DC's budget drama, unfinished public works projects, or the ongoing sabotage of the US federal government, adversity is seemingly abundant. But at the same time, many of us are rising to the occasion.
In the face of everything that's going on, there are many amazing local organizations working to support DC residents in a range of ways. I try to draw attention to a different one each month in this email update, but that's just the start. DC residents have a proud history of uniting—whether through official organizations or just by helping each other out on a friendly basis. There is no simple fix to our current situation, but a strong community fabric is definitely part of the long-term solution.

Now let's summarize March 2025, look toward April 2025, meet our organization + business in focus, and see this month's video briefing.
