It probably won't take you long to look at my CV below and see a familiar journey. I won't sugar coat it: my generation has had to be pretty adaptive in the face of many unexpected challenges. For me, this has meant getting degrees in Geography and Political Science, learning both Spanish and Portuguese, working as a demographer, living abroad, and having many second or third jobs. While my professional affiliations have been wide-ranging, what has remained constant is my desire to learn from the world around me.

 

I want to represent ANC 1C03 to continue absorbing knowledge from neighbors and thoroughly assessing what I learn in order to find the best course of action. This is seldom easy, and with my many years of experience mediating conflicts and solving problems, I am eager to apply myself to the challenges we in Adams Morgan face.
