Just when we thought springtime couldn't get any busier, April 2021 taught us a lesson! This past month was full of great events and progress in 1C03. Thanks to everyone who helped out in one way or another!

WHAT WE DID
Proposal passed 8-0 for tree planting plan at plaza in front of BB&T bank
Grant application passed 8-0 for Momentum Health to serve LGBT youth of color
Facilitated replacement of US flag in Kalorama Park (DC flag has been requested!)
Represented ANC 1C at the Adams Morgan Partnership BID quarterly board meeting
Co-organized a multi-ANC cleanup with commissioners from 1B (U Street) & 2B (Dupont)
Attended evening vigil for Duante Wright & victims of police violence in DC
Attended bicycle vigil for Jim Pagels and victims of traffic violence in DC
Wrote resolution draft on Walter Pierce hours for ANC 1C PSE committee
Accepted invitation to join DC Arts Center's Adams Morgan Advisory Committee
