The tally of community accomplishments continues to expand—and so does the list of ongoing needs. Several key areas of concern persist, especially continual episodes of violent crime and property theft throughout DC and Adams Morgan. Residents also have been eager to send their thoughts on sporadic parking, zoning, and property management conflicts. Please keep doing so as needed!
We certainly have positive news to reflect on as well. Whether the Halloween Dog Costume Parade in Kalorama Park, successful negotiations on noise and trash control with local businesses, another beautiful year of the Jardín de Mariposas (Butterfly Garden), or simply the annual departure of mosquitos, October 2023 had its bright moments.

Let's revisit October 2023, look forward to November 2023, meet our organization + business in focus, and see this month's video briefing.
