We're halfway through 2025! Which for Adams Morgan and DC more broadly has been an atypical year so far, to say the least. The municipal budget for fiscal year 2026 remains a work in progress. And elected officials in Congress continue to renew threats to dismantle the little autonomy DC has.
But that doesn't mean we don't have reasons to be optimistic. World Pride injected positivity throughout the city. Local volunteers are as busy as ever caring for parks, organizing around important causes, and serving neighbors. Few summer days in DC go by without a range of activities to enjoy, including around the neighborhood. Uncomfortable challenges certainly remain, but the spirit of Adams Morgan has proven as resilient as ever.

Let's review June 2025, look ahead to July 2025, meet our organization + business in focus, and see this month's video briefing.
