The year continues to pass by steadily, with plenty of action to note along the way.
Last month, we learned that plans were moving forward to convert the 1800 blocks of Kalorama and Wyoming into one-ways with speed humps and contraflow bike lanes. As the public comment period winds down, I want to again thank everyone who has sent their thoughts to me, ANC 1C, and DDOT.
There are many ongoing projects I'm working on advancing as we await the wintry months. Areas of focus range from neighborhood art to trash collection, transportation safety to small business retention, and many other city-wide concerns like housing affordability. If there is something on your mind, please let me know and we'll devise a plan together!
Let's look back at October 2022, glance forward to November 2022, meet our resident + business in focus, and see this month's video briefing.
