A Time to Regroup

We're well into the second half of a very eye-opening 2025. That means DC (finally) has a budget for the next fiscal year. It also means the federal government's purposefully disorganized threats on DC autonomy continue. And that's on top of the harm already done to many residents who have lost their jobs, see their businesses struggling, or been victims of violent crime.

In Adams Morgan, summer is both busy and a time of respite. ANC 1C is taking an official recess during the month of August. But just because our formal meetings are on pause doesn't mean we aren't actively engaging with the neighborhood. Please keep reaching out with your thoughts on Adams Morgan affairs, whether to share appreciation or voice concern!

There are multiple ongoing mural proposals for Adams Morgan, several of which have requested ANC 1C support in order to secure grant funding or permits
